Privacy Policies

Policy 1
Phpauction explicitly asks when it needs information that personally identifies you. Phpauction asks for general contact information and, where appropriate, credit card information.

Policy 2
Phpauction uses your Personal Information to provides services and to communicate with you regarding your Phpauction account and to compile general demographic statistics.

Policy 3
Phpauction may disclose your Personal Information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Phpauction and/or Phpauction; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Phpauction, Phpauction, the site, or the users of Phpauction; and, © act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Phpauction, Phpauction, the site, or the public.

Policy 4
As part of your participation in any of the Phpauction services, Phpauction allows you to elect to receive or not receive certain information and e-mail from Phpauction. From time to time, Phpauction may be required to send you information about the service or your account. Except as mentioned above, Phpauction will not send you unsolicited information, commercial offers or advertisements, including e-mail.

Policy 5
If at any time you believe that Phpauction has not adhered to these principles, please notify us by e-mail at privacy@phpauction.org and we will use all reasonable efforts to promptly determine and correct the problem. Policy 6
Phpauction privacy statement applies to those services that display this statement in conjunction with the Privacy Statement link on the site's Web pages. The Phpauction Web sites can be identified with the Web site displaying the Phpauction name or "by Phpauction" at the top of the opening page screen.
While we support other Web site operators using Phpauction services complying with these principles, you should carefully examine the privacy statements of sites linking to or from Phpauction. Personal information that you choose to provide to other Web sites will be subject to the privacy policies of that Web site.

Policy 7
Phpauction does not share your Personal Information, except with partners who assist in providing services or products associated with Phpauction services. Some of our services allow you to request information on areas of interest to you. In order to provide that information, Phpauction may use partners and provide such partners with necessary Personal Information. Other companies may have access to your Personal Information to provide routine services, such as credit card processing, or may provide other essential elements of the site. These uses of Personal Information are primary to the operation of the site.

Policy 8
We use your e-mail address to respond to incoming service requests from you. Because we service so many customers, e-mail is the primary way we interact with our members. We ask for your postal address because some of our services, that a customer may choose, requires a mailing address so that we can completely perform the service.
